Don't ask me how 'we' did it (forgive me as I did not watch) but our national football team beat the one from Brazil so now us Dutch are in the semi finale which I don't think anyone really expected! Especially after finding out that in order to make it that far 'Oranje' had to win from Brazil something that seemed impossible. Because of this I'll highlight some Dutch models, just for fun! ;)
Everyone knows Doutzen Kroes, she's not just a model, she's considered to be a 'supermodel' being one of Vistoria Secret's Angels and being very blue chip doing campaigns for big brands. Another favourite is Lara Stone who's half Dutch, half British. But apart from those two very well known ones there is also Dewi Driegen, Iekeliene Stange, Rianne Ten Haken, Bette Franke, Kim Noorda, Anna De Rijk, Ymre Stiekema, Cato van Ee. And up and coming girls such as Melissa Tammerijn, Bregje Heinen, Mirte Maas, Patricia van der Vliet and Nimue Smit.
Here they all are:

When it comes to Dutch male models I often don't even realize they're Dutch which is mostly due to some of their first/last names, for example Marc Cox or Bastiaan Ninaber. Of course there is Marc Vanderloo, probably the most well known, but also already quite old, Dutch model. But in recent years some fresh new faces have come along, some doing very well. Apart from Bastiaan Ninaber and Marc Cox there is Rogier Bosschaart, Gen Huismans. And up and coming guys such as Tim Boot, Rutger Derksen, Jaco Van Den Hoven, Demy Matzen.

Tuesday I'll be seeing THE NATIONAL!!!!!! They were supposed to start at 9.30 BUT because 'our team' made it to the semi finale they start at 7 pm and afterwards, if you like (I probably go home) you can watch the match in Paradiso on a big screen. PLEASE PLEEEEEEEEASSSE everyone going to see The National don't show up dressed in that horrible orange! :(
