>*I NORMALLY DON'T PAY MUCH ATTENTION TO LADY GAGA, BUT..._+

... apparently she's the new creative director of Polaroid!!!

I love everyone who's willing to keep the polaroid alive, so... hope she does a good job!

Thanks to Models.com for the info and Nicola Formichetti for the pictures

I saw this at Stereogum today

These New Puritans have a new album called Hidden and it has a lot of weight to it. Incredibly full and heavy sound. It's one of those albums that offers you so much on repeated listens. They'll be supporting The xx on February the 16th when I'm also going to see Japandroids! Gonna be one busy night :MusD

&)LAKSHMI & CO)-

Look how incredible Lakshmi Menon looks wearing Givenchy. As a man I will not wear clothing from the women collection, but those pieces from the new Givenchy collection certainly look very nice. If I was a woman I knew what I would be wearing this winter. :)

Nicola Formichetti is one of the best stylist and obviously one with the most work at the moment 'cause every editorial seems to have been styled by him. The guy certainly keeps himself busy. This one is shot by Sebastian Faena and features Eniko Mihalik looking very graceful and slightly Daria Werbowy-esque

Karl Lagerfeld shot these. Looking very good. Miss Stone et une cigarette. Oh lala Lara

Love this look. Shot by Dancian, starring George Barnett

Shot by Trevor Kind, starring Tommy Fox. Keep on smoking

(%WHAT I WEAR)&

I'm at my parents' place because these two guys came to replace these grids or gratings or whatever they are called in English (Dutch: rooster). And because normally there isn't anyone home around this time of day I've been asked to drop by and let these men in. So that's what I'm here for. They are here already for 30 minutes and will work until 2 pm, at least that's what I heard one of the guys say. I believe right now they went for a smoke. Hmmm. Maybe I should keep an eye out and make sure they do their job well. Perhaps I should offer them some coffee as well. Be a good host.

Anyway here are some more pictures from that really cool shoot Mariano Vivanco did for Dazed And Confused. Styling by Nicola Formichetti and starring Kendra Spears, AJ Abualrub and Roy Pratt.

And you know these blogs or websites where people take pictures of themselves showing what they wear. I thought for once lets do this as well. :) So here's what I have been wearing yesterday and also today. Just today I decided to wear my boots instead of the shoes you can see me wearing in the pictures.

So here's what I wore. In colour!

The shorts are my own and already like 10 years old and perhaps even older! I re-discovered them yesterday and they still fit :D

I like this one looks like I'm jumping:

Reminds me of this picture:

Of course it got a bit out of hand. As usual. :p

So as you can see I ended up playing around a bit. Would be cool to do a real shoot and shoot someone. Then I could really stand behind the camera. Now most of it is guess work.

It's going to storm! Nice :))

Franz Ferdinand's new video for Can't Stop Feeling. It's even funnier than their last No You Girls one.:

I want to go to Lowlands to see Bloc Party and Arctic Monkeys :(((((((

^$HEADBANDS AND GOSSIP+_

I just basically need to stop reading texts and start writing these extra parts for my thesis which my supervisor wants me to write. Have been reading all day. Maybe I'm going to do some drawing in some minutes. Is what I did last night after reading, was very calming and relaxing. And fun of course too. Just imagining myself wearing all these crazy clothes and then drawing it. Perhaps I should become a designer?? I was reading about this kid, a young designer last night who planned to be an actor first but then switched realizing he was more interested in the costumes than in the performing. This kid is JW Anderson, he's Irish and coincidentally today Men's Rag posted the collection I was looking at last night. Lately I've been having a thing for headbands. So far I haven't found a shop where you can buy them, so I better make my own. I actually already did. Anyway, Mr. Anderson likes them too. These pictures are great by the way. It's like they're all covered with smoke. Makes them look so mysterious and ancient. Like they're from a different era.

For more visit his offical website which looks really good.

Also this really REALLY cool shoot from Dazed & Confused magazine with an almost unrecognizable Kendra Spears on the cover. Even more headbands!

And Gossip. I never checked them out. For a while I even started to think Beth Ditto was British, although I knew the band were from the US. But I have a feeling they're far more popular in the UK than anywhere else. Their new song Heavy Cross is really cool. Love Ditto's voice. So powerful. The video is very nice as well. Very golden.

Anna Karinaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

If I find the time I might go and attend the Arnhem Fashion Biennale which is taking place at the moment. Maybe even as a volunteer and get free clothing to wear! Would be cool :D
