#-IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN+-

Next week around this time I'll be Lille!

Had school today, but felt so uninspired. I made something, but basically it's nothing. I actually just felt like talking and getting to know people a bit better. Next week no class, AGAIN (!!!!), but it's okay 'cause else I would not have been able to go to Lille :)

I'm FINALLY seeing The Hurt Locker tonight at a cinema in my city, let's see whether it's really Oscar winning worthy ;)

&$DE ANDEREN@!

Was watching a play almost two hours ago. Loved it. Loved the subdued acting. The decor consisting of just some rows of chairs. Theatre is all about dialogue, which I love. Writing. Need to see more of this director Olivier Provily. Have to wait until his next play. Not like with those film directors of whom you just put a DVD in your laptop and start watching all of his/her work. Nomatter what year. Doesn't even matter if you weren't born yet. But theatre you need to watch in the here and now.

(}PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILM><

This last week everytime I didn't know how to spend my time I started taking photographs. Last Saturday I received the Canon EOS 450D which I ordered, YUP, I bought one! Why save your money if you're not going to spend it? So spend it! That's exactly what I did. Or actually you have to look at it as an investment. Spending sounds like I just wasted it, burned my money, and I didn't. So ever since having my new camera I've been taking a lot of pictures of the most random things, just to practice and somehow I ended up taking this one of me, which I like. My eye seems slightly red and a bit swollen or puffy. It looks interesting to me.

Not too long ago I signed up to compete in this small film competition in my town which is organised by the best cinema in town (de Filmschuur!). The theme is 'free' and you're free to interpretate that theme in whatever way you want. Only rule is that it can't be longer than 5 minutes. I already know what my film will be about, It's all set and it's really me, but I need help! It's still a little bit early, we have officially started from Thursday. But I need to arrange everything myself. But basically all I need is a camera and two other people. A girl to play the girl and another person to hold the camera at those moments I have to appear on screen myself :) It's not much, but at the same time it is. I am getting msyelf pretty busy lately. But there's always so much I want to do and feel like I need to be doing. There are just way too many things you can do in this world!

P.S.: Cloud Cult are much cooler than I thought, also love M83 more and more! I'm talking music for everyone who didn't understand.

&§BALLAST|~

Just before I go to bed, this trailer you really NEED to see! I saw it yesterday or the day before or maybe even the day before that one, don't remember, but now I'm posting it here right now. It's the trailer from this film called Ballast. Its director, Lance Hammer won the prize for best direction at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and the film also won for best cinematography. Just a glimpse of the trailer and you immediately see why it won, it really needs no explanation. Just Look. I myself had to stop watching it, because I was so overwhelmed with excitement that I just don't want to see or hear anything about this film from now on until I've seen it at the cinema. So they better make sure they play it somewhere. I knew nothing about this film, but it sky rocketed to the top of my must-see list. I can't wait. I hope the story is as good as those first couple of beautiful images that can be seen at the beginning of the trailer. Be fascinated:

And a picture from Boy A, this film I'm longing to see for quite a long while now. Found out some days ago that they will show it at the Filmschuur, the best cinema here in my town. So that's really cool news. But the only reason I want to see this movie is because of this picture below. I don't know what it is, but looking at this picture just want me to see the movie. And...well I just really like the film's title. Enough reason for me to go all kinds of crazy. And a movie that's playing right now and which I NEED to see is Lake Tahoe, can't wait.

Someone took a picture of the poster of Lake Tahoe:
